Hello:
I bought a Fujitsu B6110D notebook, that came without the internal wireless card. I did some research and found out the card brand and model that was originally installed (Atheros AR5006XS from Askey). I've read several posts regarding the fact that it does not matter what connector should be hooked up to which cable.
In this case, the miniPCI compartment has 3 antenna cables: One Black, one Grey and another White. Following what I researched, I connect the black on the Main and the Grey on the AUX. The computer detected the card at boot and the drivers worked perfectly. But I have the impression that the range is poor (my wireless router is only one room away, less than 40 feet).
Fujitsu Support refused to tell me how to connect the card, but a friend praised this forum and advised me to post here for an answer.
If anybody knows how to properly connect the card, please let me know how. Thank you for your help!
