Video Card, random freezing, help please.

I just installed the ATI 4.3 drivers, and my video card just randomly stops responding. Mostly during gaming, but its not that intense of gaming, its Counter-Strike. I was also just surfing the forums and it froze up for about 5-10 seconds. What could it be, I just touched it, not hot at all, the grill is a little warm. This is really starting to piss me off. Also when I have winamp and Counter-Strike on it freezes up in about 3 or 5 minutes. I have plenty of ram for 2-3 programs.. someone help.

Ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

I have the same problems there is a built in recovery protocol now in the cat drivers that stops everything and trys to restart the viedo driver. but i still get garbled screens that i have to restart the computer to fix. When i play 3d games like solder it still crashes i have yet to figure out what is wrong. but i have an 8500 all in wonder dv. and the ati page is compleatly useless i have sent e-mails to them and everything but to no avail.
