i9100 benchmark results

Here are the results from benchmarking my i9100.

No overclocking, no modification. I would like to push it a bit with Powerstrip, but I am not really ready to start playing with that yet.

Are my 3DMarks numbers OK? I saw another poster who pulled a number much closer to 4000 with his 64 MB card, even though he was overclocking. Still, are my numbers a little on the low side for that 64 MB card?

Specs are as follows...

i9100
2.8ghz P4 w/HT
512 MB RAM
WSXGA+ display
ATI 9700 w/64 MB
40gig hard disk
4x DVD burner

Let me know what you folks think.

the 3D mark seems ok, seeing its the 64MB. i have the 128MB, and the highest i got when i first ran it was 3358. I've wiped it clean since and the computer as a whole is running great. I ran the 3DMark03 again with only the basic tests and got a 4257!! one of the highest numbers i've seen around here, but i'm about to look again.
5 cheers for the I9100

After running 3dMark again this morning, I pulled a 3135, a whole 1 point better.

Anyway, just want to make sure these numbers are in line with the majority of 64MB ATI cards in the 9100s.

that's awesome for a 64meg version of the 9700. I got the 128 and without OC I get 3360 I think it was, so not a big difference. GEEZ what BASIC tests did you run for that beast of a number??

Best is now 3139 from 3DMark03. That score was after the laptop was already running for several minutes.

It's a slow day at work, what can I say. I've run 3DMark probably 12 times this morning already, haha.

I was the one that got the 3811 from 3DMark03 with a 64Mb 9100. I was using powerstrip and had the card highly overclocked. I backed the speed off a bit and it seemed stable until the next day, when the video corrupted with normal browsing / movement. I had to dump powerstrip to get it back in shape and I haven't retested the settings with the new BIOS... maybe I will soon!

Looks like we have about the same system and same results...
My 9100 showed up on Monday.
2.8ghz Prescott, 512mb, 64mb radeon 9700, wxga, 60gb 7200rpm, 1300 true mobile...

I have run 3dmark03 about 6 times. The results range from 3120-3130.
For a comparison I ran 3dmark03 on my new desktop at work. It is a 3.2ghz Northwood, 1gb ram, 128mb radeon 9600... It scored a 3215.

Both are stock - no overclocking. My 9100 seems to run 3d cad better than the desktop! I'm happy with my 9100!

Can you check your clock speeds again. That number is absurdly high at default speeds. All things being equal, I don't see how that's possible.

i think ajwat was playing around. Since his initial posts/claims, he hasn't come back. In any case, I am not aware of such high scores even for overclocked cards in the 9100 or XPS. However, if it is true and he really did get lucky with such high scores, well good for him, I would tell him that maybe he should turn his focus on the lottery.....................

Score

I don't know what up with my lappy, I went from a score of 1469 or so with the Omega drivers, it was suggested I revert back to orginal driver, Just ran the test again, score is now only 1800 and change. Yes I disabled the AA. Any help to bring the score up/ I am running 3DMARK 03.

Thanks Troops
