yup take it anywhere, i usually throw it in my back pocket before going anywhere, whats best about it is that you dont need any power cables, it gets its power from your computer ( usb)..if you have a spare 2.5 hdd laying around, buy a 2.5 enclosure and use it, they are like 5-10 dollars

Actually the Ram he showed will work with the Dual Channel motherboard. It isn't the ram that is dual channel but the motherboard that has 2 memory pipelines that run in tandem from the memory slots and the motherboard. As long as he purchases 2 of the same Cas Latency and mhz -gb/mb size then he will be just fine. So purchasing 2 A-DATA 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Notebook Memory units will after installation run in dual channel mode. Great price for 2 gigs of ram too being only around $62 after shipping.

Can I use those 800 MHz RAM modules if my FSB is 800 MHz? Like the mobile Extreme?
In the m9750 you can only use the 667mhz (highest frequency) ram. This is due to the fact that it does not have the Santa Rosa platform in it.
what i was talking about was you cant put the 512 that is in the m9750 with a 1 gig stick and expect dual channel...

That is why I was saying, IF I had a mobile Extreme which has a 800 MHz FSB could I upgrade it?

Roger that! It's the processor.
the new dell 1730 has the extreme processor and they put 667mhz RAM...dont know why they did that but there must be a reason..
But I saw these RAM chips on newegg after the m1730 was released. But you have a point there. Anyone else on this?

i was thinking for a second that they release a computer named mobile extreme... and then i was thinking how did that happen without me knowing it...i never thought of the processor.. i guess i had a blonde moment...
