I need HELP!!! I have downloaded every driver for xp I can find, and just cant get the WiFi, ethernet,or sound to work. A call to toshiba tech support resulted in a 25 minute argument with the tech about vista vs XP. He said they have no reason to ever supply a win XP driver for these systems because WinXP is obsolete. Help me prove him wrong!!!!PLEASE!!!

ok, I got the sound working by installing SP2 and quickfix kb888111, but the rtl8139/810x fast ethernet and the rtl8187b_wlan_adapter still wont work with any of the drivers I have tried...any ideas???

I'm in the same boat with the same laptop, but I'm about a day behind you. I'm still trying to find a working video driver. If you have any luck finding working XP drivers, please post links! I'll do the same.

Some of you have a DVD or CD restore of a Toshiba A215-S7422?

Do You need old BIOS (firmware) from Optical Drive (cd/dvd) from Toshiba Satellite A215-S7422 ?

I bought this Toshiba A215-s7422, 3 months ago, and now the anti-virus expired... I had installed the AVG (free version) and Windows Defender, but I´m having some problems, the machine, is getting very slow... I´m looking for a "Factory DVD Restore", many desktops come with a disc to recovery the system, just like when you buy a new one, I´m looking for something like that. Do you think you could help me?

Didnt you make a DVD copy of the restore disks. Your machine should come equiped with ERecovery. Mine is located within a green bar with 8 icons in it on my desktop. Should be the second last one on the right. And, instructions should be in your user manual for creating these DVD disks
