Nvidia Quadro FX 1600m 256mb vs. 8700 GT 512mb

Guys/Gals

Has anyone had a chance to compare the two video cards? If so, would it be wrong to assume the 512mb 8700 GT is WAY superior to that of the 256mb Quadro FX 1600m? Or would it be fair to say they aren't all that different?

I'm trying to decide on either the Dell Precision M6300 or the ABS Mayhem Comanche.

Thanks,
Raz

Bummer, I can't tell which 1600M that is in position 11? Should I assume that is the 512mb? Dell seems to only offer the 256mb version? Raz

it correct, and I think that also base one 256MB version, I don't think I ever seen 1600M with 512MB. you need to look at the 3Dmark 05 and 3Dmark 06, the higher the number usually mean better in game, but there are some debate about if it this and that, some say if it not test above and beyond 1280x1024 it don't mean anything... but I am just giving you the idea so you can see the baseline of the 3D score mark

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure I understand you. Are you saying that you think the tested 1600M in the 11th position is the 256mb card? Thanks, Raz
