Thinkpad R61 or T61???

Hi,
I am a university student looking for a decent notebook, that will handle some light gaming.
Right now I am interested in the R61 or T61 from lenovo. Both are pretty similar in specs and price... so what is the difference between these 2 models?

T61: $1350 CDN
T7300 2GHz
1GB 667MHz RAM
4965 agn wifi
120GB HD
quadro 140nvs
14" WXGA+ screen
3yr warrenty

R61: $1330 CDN
T7500 2.2GHz
1GB 667MHz RAM
3945 abg wifi
160GB HD
quadro 140nvs
14" WXGA+ screen
3yr warrenty.

one has better cpu, the other has different (range) wifi -

..hahaha, uh thanks. I can see the obvious differences. everyone rants and raves about the Tseries, I never hear about the Rseries.. Is there any reason not to get the R61 if the wifi card is not important to me? Thanks!

The R is like a pound heavier, battery options and power consumption might be different. I think the T series has a few features the R-Series does not. Poke around the website and look for pages with an overview of the features of R and T series.

Only difference is dimension

As long as you choose the discrete version, then T61/R61 only have difference in terms of dimension. And of course the battery capacity is different for the obervious reason.

The T-Series has some features that the R-Series does not have. I've been looking almost exclusively at the T-Series.
