Selling Sager 8887

I have listed my 8887 on ebay if anyone is interested:

Item#3472284221

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3472284221

I bought this from PCTorque Feb last year. I am selling it because I am upgrading to the new 8790. The laptop is in great shape. The paint is worn from a spot on the left hand side and where the latch meets the case. The screen is perfect (No dead pixels).

Thanks for looking.

Wow, I bought mine at the same time as you (well, January, but it took longer to get because of the paint job)... I still use it to play all my favorite games (when I have a chance). Most recent is Battlefield: Vietnam.

Runs pretty darn well (only a tiny bit of chop when it's really cranked up). Running at 1600x1200x32, as well.

If you could, go ahead and list the specs here for lazy web-surfers (like myself) to give folkes a better idea of what you have.

Good luck,

Around $1400

Ouch... I have a similar rig (except painted & two 60gb drives) so it's probably only worth $1600-$1800 or so, going by your final price of $1525. 'Course that goes down with time...

Well, I'm riding this one out; keeping it until it dies...

Thanks for sharing the info, HH,

They complained about the battery life, so I had to credit them some $. After shipping, paypal fee, ebay fee, I got around $1400. Bought a bareboned 8790 for $1633, added two 60G raided (1 I saved from my initial 8887, one I bought later), bought some a-data sodimm from newegg, used an 11g miniPCI I got from ebay from seeing it in these forums.
