I just bought a 2407WFP-HC by calling a Dell Direct store and got it for $534($596 shipped) as opposed to the $569 on Dell's site. When talking to the guy I asked about the dead pixel policy. He gave me some line about a warranty that I could use if I had any problems with it.
Later on I asked if it could be returned if I had only 1 dead pixel. He said, "I think so, the warranty should cover any damage or problems." This sounded like BS to me so I started looking for Dell's policy. All I could find where references to an Australian and Canadian Total Satisfaction Policy that lets you return stuff no questions asked within 15 days.
Try and try as I might I haven't been able to find a definitive answer for the USA Dell. You guys got any ideas/suggestions. I'm hoping the monitor is good, but like most of you I don't want to stare at a dead pixel all day. TIA
PS: This is my first LCD, though oddly enough I have a dead pixel in my 32" CRT TV.
