So I need to get a new notebook since my last was stolen.
I've basically narrowed my choices down to 3. I'd like some opinions on which would be the better deal. I'm not too worried about price. The 3 I'm interested in, I believe would be within price. The HP is a little more because of a HD DVD drive, that I'm not particularly interested in. However, since I don't like in the states, I can't buy it direct from HP with the specifications I'd like.
I'm looking for something mainly for daily use, and gaming. I'm looking for something that is also appealing to look at, and will function well.
So here are my options:
HP dv6500tSE
Any feedback appreciated.

Others have said they have to lower resolution for the "real" games... I made a little joke about games since you included a mac in your list... macs don't do games, unless in bootcamp... then you might as well have a pc. I *love* my mac... they are great machines. (No mac bashing here, just the cold and hard truth.)
. Not much to misunderstand. Shared memory is shared memory. Simple.
