Well Got her in...Wasn't a bad build only about 2 hours or so....The thing wouldn't boot for some reason, then all of a sudden started booting and working correctly....Did a little messing with the clocks, I have it sitting at 3.1ghz and she hits a 13,296 on 3DMark06....Not tooo shabby I'd prolly hit about 13,500+ if I upped the processor more, but i'm happy with 3.1ghz.

Real nice machine in real life, ONLY complaint is that power supply has every cable their mother and their brother hanging off, so its a wiring disaster, but other than that shes supppper smooth...Vista is blaaaazing fast on this machine.

Nice build Glad you are enjoying your new toy! Out of curiosity, what are your 3D06 scores at stock ?
Looks nice, Rockin! Glad you got your Ultra. That's a nice 3DMark06 score on Vista.

what are the LOLs for?
Mildly retarded me thinks.

You'll have to tell us how loud (or not) your CPU cooler is. I'm looking to buy a nice quiet one.

Absolutly Quiet...I can't even hear the CPU cooler...I'd imagine unlike other cooler it doesn't sit at blazing speeds like I like until the CPU goes up in temp...Very sweet cooler though, easy to install and very nice looking.

The LOLs were because when they were doing gaming machines, they never included the Ultra, and I always told them to....Saw I thought it was funny, I had no choice but to get a ultra since I kept telling everybody else to.

The Thermalright Ultra-120 series would be for you. You can put any 120mm fan you'd like on it, allowing YOU to control how much noise comes out of it

Also, I have the Zalman 9700 and I have it attached to a fan controller, my Q6600 never overheats even on the lowest 1250rpm setting (which is very quiet)
yeah my 9700 is dead quiet in low speed mode. The only fan I hear on my system really is the one that is on the window...

Well All in all, the computer is great....Can't even hear the CPU Cooler, after 5 hours of gaming, CPU sits at 48C,46,44,44.

Also the PSU took a crap on me and died 2 days ago. I put in a Thermal Tak 750 watt until my new Antec 850 watt comes in, then I have to send back the ABS power supply for refund...Newegg was real nice about it.
Yeah I have a Thermaltake 700 in my machine. Under full load I run around 590-610 watts (Overclocked).
I love the TT PSU's, never really failed on me and they seem to be very favored by computer users...not so much their non-tough power models however.

I dunno what the deal is....Is there a issue with vista, I can't seem to pull more then a 8k on 3dmark05....So either this power supply can't handle my setup, or I dunno maybe my video card went bad when the power supply went out???
what are your independent scores. Need to see if it's an across the board loss of performance or GPU/CPU specific. run 3D06. I can refernece those scores. I have not used 3D05 in forever lol
