Help! Dark areas on my SZ320 screen

have just noticed a band of dark area on my laptop. I am sure I have not damaged or applied pressure to the screen in any way.

Anyone knows whats the cause of this?

The only thing I ever did to my screen was to use some screen cleaning fluid on it.

Would the warranty help fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

It's probably a defective screen. Call up Sony support and see if they will fix it for you.
