8890V up for Resale...Be Quick on this one

Ok so you've looked at the 8790.
Nice, but its not quite right for you is it?
A bit expensive and you feel its missing some of the features the 8890 has..

It's second hand and I only have one.
I have to sell it. I don't want to. I don't have any choice, I need the money.

What you gain by it being second hand is that you know it has a perfect
screen (no dead pixels and no scratches), it is working flawlessly and
that the remaining 6 months warranty can be transferred to you
(PC Torque can verify this if you like).

The offer is an 8890-V with the fastest 3.2 GHz CPU you can get,
1 GByte memory, 16" UXGA screen and DVD burner option.
I could only afford a 40 Gbyte disk at the time, so with the money you can
save on this machine you can get two new 7200 RPM disks and have the
ultimate in disk speed..

The laptop is also fitted with wireless and Bluetooth if you need them.

You already know this is a good second hand unit, so you know you are going
to save money by buying it. You will save more than enough to fit it out
with twin high speed drives and it will still be cheaper than a new unit.

It is a low cost $1700.

Want something for free? Let's say you don't need the high speed disks but would like to have RAID anyway?

Ok, the deal includes a free, second 40GB disk.
I was going to setup RAID but didn't get around to it.
In selling the laptop, I no longerhave a use for it so,
kI am giving it away free with the laptop.
It can be installed in the second drive bay and you will own a laptop
with twin RAID disks.

You are driving me bananas now..
You know the warranty is transferrable.
You know you are going to save $1000. You even have the free 40Gbyte disk.
So email me deuse_x@hotmail.com

Serious didn't work either huh? How about pride? How about presence?
How about ownership? How about sheer unadulterated grunt? deuse_x@hotmail.com

But the bad news is i trod on my copy of windows XP pro that came with it.
now i could go out and buy another copy, but that would be added onto the price
and maybe the guy thats going to buy this baby has got it already..

here is the full spec

8890V 3.2 chip with HT
16" UXGA screen NO DEAD PIXALS
1 gb of 400mhz ram
ATI 9600 pro with 128 mg ram
2x 40gb 4500rpm HDs
1x DVD/CDR-W burner
wireless
bluetooth

and all the norm 8890V goodies...

also there is fitted a UK TV card(i was going to change it to a USA one)and up the ram))
But you can take that out and fit another TV card or a another harddrive,it upto the buyer..

i would like the person who buys this baby to live in florida or near..cause then they can
see it in the flesh and take it home with them..

this is my laptop i sold to Bombadil here..but we found out the screen was not SXGA but UXGA
why did i not notice this...well i left the laptop in the UK while i planned out my life here
and i never touched it much until i came to sell it..and Bombadil noticed it was a UXGA screen
but he needed a SXGA one...so the deal never went through...

To cut a very long story short..i just got married(3 april) and i need the cash more
now then ever..but i wont give it away.....

so is there any takers on this baby....

$1200 is a little low; however I am not going to place a price on it myself. My advice is try selling it on eBay you will get around your asking price of $2000. Just make sure you can advertise your item well.
