DIE DIE DIE.

The hell with the damn demo, soon enough it'll say "sorry, we're too damn stupid to even put the demo up, buy the crappy game itself so that you can realize that it is a terribly optimized sh!t stain."

Crysis Demo Pushed To Saturday; Pre-Load Demo FUBAR

Oct 26, 2007 at 4:05 AM - Andrew Burnes - 12 Comments
The Crysis demo should now be available to download and play via the EA Downloader if you pre-ordered the game. However, many, including myself, are unable to download the file, let alone install and play.

The demo is going to be released officially on Friday, October 26th at 1:00PM (GMT+1). It will be exclusively available for those who pre-ordered Crysis for about 24hours via the EA downloader. On Saturday, October 27th at 1:00PM the demo will be put online for download an all public sites, so keep tracking your favourite fan site.Update:

EA are aware of the issue preventing the download of the pre-order demo but do not have an ETA for a fix.

Downloading now
wooo, runs like shit. end of story.

why'd I have to pre-order this damn thing
post #54 of 59
I'm still downloading. What are your specs pdonket? I'm wondering how it will run on my m9750
post #55 of 59
It's running on the system in my sig (E1705)

It should run better for you especially if you have dual 7950GTX's however for me, on medium settings and low res, it just looks like crap, and if I jack it up higher it doesn't look bad, granted i stand looking at the same object continually.
Yeah I'm afraid that even my system won't be enough. It ran Bioshock pretty good but I heard Crysis is a killer
post #57 of 59
It is I think I'll even with my 8800GTS run it at about 1280x800 on high
post #58 of 59
Runs pretty good on my desktop (E6850, 8800GTX, 2GB Ram). Playing at medium settings @ 1920x1200, no AA. Looks fine at these settings, haven't really tried to up it. It actually looks good at lower res as well. Good gameplay in the demo. Looking forward to the real thing.

Well I downloaded the 169.01drivers from lap2go and they seem really good but my 9750 is having a rough time keeping good frame rates on this game
