Well the singple player demo is due on friday, and nowhere on the internet can I find how it will run on my system. Whos getting it? This is one of the main reasons I forked out so much for this thing, so I hope it plays well, even if I do have to use DX9.

Id love to hear from anyone how it goes who ran the MP demo, or plans to get the SP demo when it arrives. On a M1710 - 7950 anyway.

you probably will be able to run it at cranked at low/medium settings.

this game is hardcore. the developers want to make a statement about having the most groundbreaking game in the world

On a 1710 with 7950, I don't think so. They been spending months optimizing this game and the MP beta isn't a reflection of how graphically demanding the final game will be. I'm betting you'd be able to play on high with that setup (I'm not sure about very high). Of course we'll see with the demo on Friday.

high at 1024x768 yes.

You'll be able to run it on high no problem.

Speaking after participating in the MP beta, you'll be able to reach Medium settings, over that and it'll rip your card apart.

My 8800GTS only runs it on high when it modded around to work nicely. Hopefully they've further optimized it though

Medium settings, 1680x1050/4xAA/AF I would imagine

They also mentioned older PCs will be able to play it too. If they made this game so only the top end hardware could really handle it, not too many people would buy it.

In an interview one of the makers mentions hes playing it on high with a 7800 GTX, cant be that bad. I only plan on playing at 1280 x 1024 - anything higher than that isnt really needed I dont think.

I failed the recommended, I have a 512mb video card but it 'recommends' 640mb.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of disappointed faces when this thing comes out.

If you are running anything less than a 7800 desktop, or equivalent I think you will be unhappy. The 7950Go, pulls slightly higher numbers than the desktop 7800 so you should be fine.

No way, it smashes my desktop 7800 in every way on every game.

3ghz, 7800GT 256mb, 2gb ram. It plays games alright, but at higher resolutions it dies.
