I was looking up completed listings. this was in green not red. so it seems they actually won this item for this much.

now did they pay for it???

the bid actually went that high tho

I doubt it was legit. A lot of those bids are either self bids or people they know. I honestly would not be able to ever justify that price.

Definitely not...

Unless it was a combination laptop, matter transporter, antigravity generator, and matter replicator. Which, seeing as it's a Dell, it's not.

Actually not too hard to believe...eBay is picking up the reputation of being a great way to launder money...especially large quantities of it...Although one would think they would be a little more careful than to drop so much on a laptop not worth half that...

Was a fake auction, BNB264's account was hacked. They instituted a fake bidding war to jack up the price & try and collect from bnb's account.
