So today I am extremely bored so I decided to write a review for my m9750, hope you enjoy it. Btw I'll put pics up soon.
First of I would like the say that the system is pretty sweet, I mean awesome. Although it is heavy, the weight does not actually bother me when I carry it around my Axio backpack. I also have not had any real major problems with it but I must say that Alienware customer service was really horrible.
Build Quality
Well the notebook is very sturdy no questions ask. It is pure and simple.
Battery Life
Not much to say here as most people know that this baby is a power hog, but this does not bug me as my last notebook had the same amount of battery life.
Port Placement/Design
The ports are nicely placed around the notebook but I would like to see another port at the back of the notebook. Also the design is really good. You can access the main components really easily. Two problems with the design, for me, was the sensitivity of the button located on the cd tray. It would of been better if it took more pressure or hold the button for maybe 2 secs to open the drive. The last one is the latch that opens the screen. I found it hard to push it to the side because it was too far down and it is very small.
Screen Quality
WOW!!!! Man this screen kills my desktop screen
. I love to watch movies on this baby because of the high res. and movies look great on it. I have not experienced any major glare issues, maybe thats because the screen is so bright that I do not notice any glare. Yes the font is very small but I'm fine with looking at it since my own handwriting is so small too.
Aesthetics
Not much to say here but I love the feel of the notebook. The soft feeling to it is very nice. Black also fits right into my place as everything is pretty much black and white, wish they had green.
Performance
Runs everything like a word document. In other words the performance exceeds todays needs, maybe not, but it is one powerful baby that will last for a really long time.
