The only difference, from what I can tell, is the shipping (2-5 days US, overnight UK). That & we don't have to pay the dreaded VAT (tax).

The Alienware I ordered from (www.alienware.co.uk) are based in Ireland so should take too long to ship over I dont think. I checked my Phase today and im on Phase 9

Your lucky!! I wish i was at phase nine!! I'm still on phase 3

This is getting annoying, ive spent 3 days in phase 3. But, i guess the delay is all because of the bank account numbers getting all messed up.
Maybe it will change later. How late do they work?

The CS people are there until 9pm eastern. Not sure about the finance guys. You should call them every day until they get it resolved (worked for me). Ask for John, he was a great help. Good Luck!

ICE I spent 3 days at phase 3 but now its going up. If it dosent go up by tommrow afternoon id give em a ring.

Thanks! I was worried that i might be the only one that had this happen. I guess i'll just have to see how it's doing tomorrow. What phase are you in?

It did seem like you went through the stages much faster than us. Hmm. I did make it to Phase 12 (from Phase 9) today. Can't wait to hear it shipped.

Phase 4 now!!
Maybe if i'm lucky it will be phase 5 tomorrow. Gosh, it feels like this is taking forever. I wish that it would jump to phase 9.

Very nice pics!!

I am begining to think that this will be a very slow process for me. It seems like i switch a phase every 2-3 days. Still on phase 4...
Do you think it's time to call them and see whats up?

Oh ya, and since i got the Hitachi 60GB 7200 RPM ATA100 does it mean thay i will have to wait for an extra 2 weeks?

I'm a bit puzzled as to why it's been so slow for you. We ordered about the same time with nearly the same specs. I would think that the hard drive shouldn't hold you back but maybe I got one of the last ones before they ran out. I would call them if I was in your place. Good luck Ice.
