I'm going to buy a new T61 but there is one hard decision I'm having trouble with, express card slot or media card slot? I use my media card slots in my desktop all the time and I've never even seen an expresscard. Will this be some cool feature I'll regret passing by?
I figure I could just put a media card reader in the express slot but that would cost extra money and I assume power. True?
For reference previous hard decisions were the graphics and hard-disk. I don't care so much about price here.
Intel X3100 because of heat & power savings plus open source support
120GB 5400RPM hard drive because I assume it will be quieter then the 100GB 7200RPM drive. (Is that correct?)
I'll probably also get Vista basic since I'll be in Linux most of the time for work. I'll only use windows for the occasional game of warcraft 3 or guildwars (at low settings). Does anyone have advise to the contrary?
