how does it run?

6th time's the charm? Exactly how many of these threads do you plan on making and deleting before you come up with a version you like?
Theres already a thread discussing it and how it will run on our dells, I do not see the point of this one.
I don't mind it personally, we're just trying to get a poll vote for each of the newer games and how they run on everybody's personal system.

Also, I don't think many will have it until tonight, I think the beta scared people shitless not to pre-order.

The MP beta didn't run too well on my 9300 of course. I played it on my desktop and loved it (even though my fps were lower than normal, but it's a beta), the effects are very realistic and the gameplay is fun. So far it's living up to its hype to me. Can't wait for the SP and seeing how DX10 and very high settings look.

Hope you don't expect to run it tolerably unless you have an 8800GTX or above. On the GTS in the desktop it'll only get 10fps

i know what you mean, i do feel like a douchebag making this the 89th Crysis thread, but i like to do polls for the big releases

I finished the demo a little while ago & posted a few pics in this thread:

http://www.notebookforums.com/thread206524.html

Keep in mind these are in jpeg so you lose a little quality, but it is stunning @ 1920x1080.
My E1705 is semi-crushed by it. I have to run 1280x800 on medium settings to just reach tolerable frame rates. Doesn't even look that good.

Doesn't live up to the hype.
high settings are where the eye candy is hiding.
looks good, still trying to get my heat problem under control
post #15 of 262
dog on it. Medium is best I can do.
i hear ya
I didn't even have the OPTION for 1920x1080.

I average about 20-25FPS on high settings at 1280x800. It absolutely KILLS my Vista machine (2nd rig in sig) and I hit temps of 71c on the CPU and the GPU hit 98c lol. Haven't yet tried it on my overclocked M1710, but I don't know if I will yet.
ya, I am trashing it until it gets released and optomized.

It is just too much.

Geforce, scroll down, there is an opton for 1900
post #19 of 262
Yeah, I totally missed it... D'oh!!

On another point, ForceWare 169.01 SIGNIFICANTLY improved thee framerates of Crysis for me, so, I whipped up a MobileForce version for Vista, and it can be obtained here: NBF MobileForce VS 169.01 M6.

So will it run terribly for me on vista dx9 - 1024 x 768?
