Favorite Leopard Feature?

Okay, well I'm just starting to poke around this thing. So far the neatest trinket is that when I drop down my list of wireless networks, it shows me which ones I can't leech off.

That, and the pop-up feature on the dock items works pretty slick, even on my lowly iBook.

Got my copy of Leopard at 10:30 this morning and have been busy getting my system back up to operating status. Not sure but Leopard feels snappier than Tiger when I first installed it. My just be that new feeling though.

But for favourite feature. Spaces has been my favourite so far.

I love Quicklook.... totally rocks my world. Spaces is nice, as it Timemachine, but quicklook and then enhancements under the hood is what sells it for me.

I never got to try any of the Beta releases of Leopard and I was always curious of how quicklook would work. Now that I have seen it I see that it is just the image "slideshow" feature expanded to be used on more file types. I will need more time to play with it. I however have my system up and running with a new bootcamp partition and so far I am loving every minute of Leopard! --EDIT-- Well I have confirmed that iSync did not include a RAZR2 profile. Bummer ...

Well, yes it sort of is an extension of the old Slideshow thing... but it is great for checking out pdfs, docs, spreadsheets all that jazz instantaneously, instead of having to open up the application, or even if the application is open, it is still quicker. You can even watch videos with it, which is nice as well.

Ok so now that I have had time to play with quicklook I have to admit I love it as well. It opened a large pdf file instantly and I was able to read the contents in normal view. Was nice to also just hit spacebar over a php file to quickly see a piece of code.

I see quicklook is going to be my new friend with logfiles.

Oh yea, QuickLook is great. I like Spaces too. Sure, it is nothing new, but it is implemented excellently.

just noticed that the top corners of the menu bar are now square as opposed to being rounded off.

I like this look more than the rounded edges actually.

It took me weeks to notice that... bit of a mind twist at first, but it looks fine...

I noticed that in the WWDC beta.

I hate it.

They've been round since the beginning and now all the sudden they made them square

squares are good. the edges of the physical display are square, so if a bar goes corner to corner it just makes sense that it fits to those corners by being square. the little black triangles as a result of the "rounding off" always sorta pissed me off.

Yeah! Apple screwed me on some pixels! They sold me an iBook with 1024x768 resolution when it only had like 1018x754, the rat bastards! I smell me a class action law suit!!!!! :P

In any case, I dig the network connections under the "Shared" section of the finder. It's nice to see all of my folders pop up on my desktop when I click on it instead of having to connect and then select the folders I want one at a time.

not so much the missing pixels as how ugly the black triangles were

I think i'd like square edges I certainly like the more square window tops.

What about the Windows BSOD image for a Windows Share on a network? Surprised that was left in the final release.
