I guess we don't have to wait now

Yeah, and it's a system RAPIST. Post your benchmarks in E1705/M1710/M1730 Benchmark thread people. I'd especially like to see how the M1730 runs this bitch.

even harsh-core sys are getting GPU Rape

at Medium settings I am getting @ 60 fps with my desktop

At High i was getting @ 17 fps

Did not even bother to try Max Settings lol

This game is a resource Pig lol

I do not think there is a computer that can run this game at the Highest settings lol

I have to agree about the resource hog comments. It is bad enough that have uninstalled the demo. I will have to wait till I build an SLI desktop sometime next year.

It's a beautiful game, no doubt. But what's the point in having those graphical settings if there isn't a (consumer) computer on the planet that will run it? I got 10 -15 fps with all settings on high. There were additional settings for ultra high that were locked out. It's a demo too, which means it's hopefully going to be a bit more optimized when the game hits the stores.

1920x1080, Ultra settings/4X (Vista) I get 31 FPS on the desktop rig in my sig 169.01 drivers. I am really not impressed with the additional effects DX10 brings at this point. Woo sunbeams (lame) and will be playing crysis under DX9

Ultra is only available on Vista & if you have a DX10 card.

My youngest boy helped himself to my powerhouse M1710 this morning while I was sleeping and dropped it down the stairs. For some reason it is not working all that well..lol...kids...His butt is gonna be red for awhile. Oh well that's what I bought CC for.

the LCD is cracked, the DVD drive will not close, the latch switch is shoved inside the screen ,and when I turn it on it screams like a cat is being castrated.

I'm alittle confused on how your getting that good of performance on those settings. I'm getting an average of about ~11 fps on those settings and 1680x1050 res on my C2D 3.3 GHz and 8800GTX (625/2000) rig. I know you have your CPU at 3.9 GHz and you're using an overclocked 8800ultra, but I don't even think 2x 8800GTX are getting that good on those settings.

This article also agrees with the performance I'm getting, so it's not something wrong with my desktop:

well right now I am running 3.9GHz 716/1679/2340. I can't seem to get past that on air. My lastest 3D06 was 14,789, but that is CPU limited, not GPU limited.

I am currently running CPU/GPU stability testing

and keep in mind Sli is still having issues with drivers, and the Demo may not be taking full advantage of SLi configs.

I'll try running 3d06 on my desktop and see what I get.

I overclocked my 8800GTX a bit more along with its shaders now and got 12410 in 3dmark06. I think that's a pretty good score.

I'm gonna run crysis now and let you know how it's doing.

Nice score Josh, what are your exact specs

680i SE MB, E6750 @ 3.30 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 800 RAM (but only 2.75 is being ultilized until I can get vista-64), and 8800GTX (625/2000, and I uped my shader to 1464).

I ran Crysis again at 1680x1050, max settings, and 4x AA and I'm getting between 12-15 fps. When I take off AA I get ~16-18 fps.
