At least AW is trying to make the service of its products better! Problems are inevitable and if you can do something that speeds up the resolution of problems, hey.

Easy to advertise .. failure to follow up and service the customer is what they seem best at....I don't see that in there.. nope looked again, not in there, why is there so many bad post about the customer service much less the problems with their products? I guess it's like the auto manufactures, mass production and failure to provide the service that keeps customers coming back.. what do you think????

wish they would come to my place and fix mine...but it probably won't happen in my life time..

of course everyone else has been doing this forever.
oh...and does that tell you anything if alienware found it cost-effective to build this software vs. keep tying up their precious Costa Ricans...??? it tells me all sorts of systems are broken...and shipping broken like both of mine did =(

I was gonna tell Steve Engle (Jan 09) and alienwaresux (Today) to create their own threads instead of glomming on to a year and a half old thread....but, but but. Gotta squeak the wheel I guess...

No sympathy, sorry.

dude i don't really care how old your thread is buddy...you guys were talking about some technology that i have been involved in for over a decade. alienware users should thank dell for buying this crap company and dealing with the crap level of service. trust me, dell wishes they never touched alienware for that price.
=)

dude/buddy,

It ain't my thread. But I thought it was funny you chose to spew all over it.

Dell, I'm sure bought the company to make money...or at least to kill that competition. Seemed purty savvy to me. 'We' all saw it from the git go.

Ain't my fault you chose to spend $13,000 on two notebooks and then a "year and a half later" after some idjit came and fondled 'em you still have a problem. This is your problem, and a purty lame one as you have laid it out. Screw you.

I've been a huge Alienware fan for a while, but I look around and don't see an Alienware laptop any where close to me. Sorry you.

Trust me, I've had nothing but excellent service/tech support from Alienware the last 8 years.

Wish I had a "dumb ass" smiley to flash.

I own a Alienware 9700 and a 9750. I have found that the service and the help from teck support great!!! The one time I had a problem with my 9700 (no sound), the teck rep was very helpful, trying to fix the problem over the phone and he spoke English!! It took only one week from the time I sent my computer to be repaired, till I had it back in my hands, No marks, dings or dents.
I wish I could say that about some other computers I have sent in for repair.
