I've mentioned this a few times, that a Mini/MacBook chipset upgrade is due with the release of Leopard.

Apple just updated the MacBook line. Santa Rosa and X3100 graphics.

Nice update, the MacBooks needed a little kick in the graphical pants, at least get them up to date with others in their class. But it isn't the huge, awe-inspiring update that so many people were hoping for, and I was too a little.

I wonder what it will take for them to drastically revamp the MacBook and MacBook Pro lines.

Well, don't forget the boost up to 4 GB ram. Those who need to run CAD stuff in Parallels WinXP will appreciate this.
