Yeah, you're right... Unfortunately, I'm probably not going to be putting them back up due to the imminent release of MobileForce 169.09. I'll also be taking down 169.01 too, as, unfortunately, MediaFire doesn't want to host all of those files. Besides, 169.09 is looking to be a better driver anyways.

I dunno if I hosted it at a good place or not, i've never uploaded anything before. I just typed in file host on google. But I figured something is better than nothing. I love these drivers so I figured i'd try to help distribute them.

After I installed NBF MobileForce XP 169.04 M4 - TWEAKED Version. I could choose from all resolution, but I only have one (60 Hertz) option of Screen refresh rate on any resolution.
The driver I used before I could go from 60 Hertz and up 120 Hertz. Can someone help me?

Well, if you're using your laptop's built-in LCD screen, then there's nothing to worry about at all. The only thing you would lose is the max FPS in games with VSync ENABLED would be lower (i.e. if your refresh rate is at 60Hz, the max FPS you can get with VSync Enabled is 60FPS, and if your refresh rate is at 120Hz, the max FPS you can get is 120FPS with VSync Enabled). With VSync disabled, there will be ZERO effect at all.

If you're referring to an external CRT monitor, then there's more to it. Unfortunately, without knowing more, like what driver version you were using before upgrading to 169.04, whether or not you did a clean install with Driver Cleaner and CCleaner, and if you do indeed have an external CRT monitor, I can't accurately diagnose your problem.

Thanks for the reply.

I have Gateway 685-E
T7400 Duo Core 2 - 2.16Mhz
2Gig Ram
Nvidia 7900 GS 256Meg
17" LCD

I had the nvidia driver came with Windows XP SP2. With SP2 drivers I have all the resolution and all the refresh rate.

Later I was trying to install the following drivers. And none of them had success:

ForceWare X 169.09 Windows XP2K 32bit
XTreme-G 97.92
XTreme-G 163.76 XP 32bit
XTreme-G 169.04 XP 32bit

All of the above wouldnt let me install and came up with this messege.
"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware"

Except this one I had half way success I think. Had all kind of resoultion and refresh rate. But had a small glitch, everytime I reset the laptop it will put me back to 1600*1024 (max resolution). And when I go to videos properties it says something Version Mismatch.

XTreme-G Mobile 162.62 XP 32bit

NVIDIA_C67.DEV_0533.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M"

Looks like your card is supported, so yes, it'll work fine.

Does the LCD shutoff when the lid closes feature work with these drivers?

No. I don't think any new drivers will support that unless they are readapted by a laptop manufacturer. Latest Dell's which supported this feature on XP was 84.69 LOL

That sucks, I can set the power scheme to turn off the LCD after a while, but it doesn't work when VLC, Windows Media Player, or PowerDVD are open.

You're outputing on a TV or monitor ?
I use an external LCD and switch screens using Fct-F8. When on my external LCD, the laptop screen shuts.
