Recently, my touchpad has been just about completely DEAD, whether I have my bluetooth mouse turned on or off, and regardless of reboots. I say "just about" because the other day, I had my notebook on my lap and I noticed that if I moved it slightly, the mouse would move; but if I used the touchpad, absolutely no response.
I thought it was a hardware issue until just today when I had TWO "blue screens of death" about a "bugsoft usb error".
Can anyone please tell me why my touchpad does not work, how to fix it, and what that bugsoft usb error is (a Google search returns nothing)?
