Apple MacBook vs Dell

Thread Starter
Ok so I'm thinking about those new MacBooks that were released today. Nice upgrades when compared to the last update. The ability to run Windows and Mac OS X sounds kinds interesting.

I looking for pros and cons of buying a MacBook vs a Dell. I'll be doing a ton of surfing, email, chatting, and taking digital pics.

Not sure if I'll "switch" or just use Mac OS X and Windows. Leopard looks like it has some cool features that Vista doesn't have.

I did stumble upon a site called Switch To A Mac and I read their MacBook Guide. Can someone give me feedback on the writeup in the guide. Also on why I should stick with a Dell/Vista and not an Apple/OS X.

Thanks!

MacBook
Pros: full OS X support, pretty case
Cons: Very expensive considering the hardware, pretty much no hardware choice other than hd and ram, bad video card

Dell (Vostro 1400/Inspiron 1420, if you want 13" M1330)
Pros: Cheap (you can configure a really good 1420 with the coupon that is out right now), much better hardware specs even cheaper than the cheapest MB, much better video card option, more options like fingerprint and card readers etc.
Cons: can't run OS X fully compatible, doesn't look as pretty as a MB

Basically, only reason to get a MacBook is if you really want to run OS X and you want a pretty case.
