Hi, im new here

I have a 2 year old A6J currently running Yonah T2400 1.83ghz, and the latest bios 218 from asus.com. It currently runs at around 65C idle and 80-90C when under load.

I am looking to upgrade it to a Duo Core2, preferably a T7600 as that would be the most powerful CPU for my 945PM chipset that could only handle FSB of up to 667mhz, I am just wondering:

1.whether my current bios supports duo core 2 processors, if not, are there other bios upgrades that is available for this model/chipset that supports duo core 2?

2.whether the heat produced by merom will be the same as the Yonah? as in whether the current cooling will be sufficient for the upgrade, given my current temperatures conditions.

3.i've heard about the graininess of X1600, have my current bios rectified the program? if not which bios has rectified this problem for my model? I don't seem to experience any graininess at the moment, but its always good to double check.

Thank you!
