8800 GT Watercooling included.

Expreview has obtained some information on a future Zotac product that will use a reference GeForce 8800 GT PCB with Samsung 1.0ns GDDR3 memories and Nippon Chemi-con(NCC) capacitors, instead of the present Qimenda GDDR3 memory chips. Scheduled to be available in late November, the card will be factory overclocked to 700/2000MHz (core/memory) and will probably feature stand alone water cooling.

They obviously are lacking in watercooling experience. 90 degree angles, along with really thin tubing... Not a good combo, but it's still being worked on.

looks like it was made for looks more than actual functionality.

I went to 12-15 stores in the College area in Toronto today. Half the stores didn't even know what I was talking about. Some others said they could "special order" it, which I didn't trust, but there was one store who had the cards listed on their website and said were getting in a shipment tomorrow. If they get enough stock in for everyone on the waiting list, they'll give me a call LOL

With all the rumours going around that the HD38xx is going to be slower, everyone is starting to flock towards the 8800GT (in droves, nonetheless).

So, congrats to everyone who has managed to snag one already

I can't wait to put one of these bad boys in my HTPC

Just been browsing some of the 8800GT forums and there seems to be an issue with the NVidea Drivers and the Auto Fans controls

Bottom line you need to use RivaTuner and manually set the fan speeds

It seems until the temps get around 90c the fans stay at low speed and some boards have gone BSOD asa result.

Thats refreshing lol.

hopefully nvidia will resolve that one promptly

And maybe within a month of AVA having my system it'll come back

However, I'd bet neither will occur

For me, I got a rev B3 quad at 3.01 ghz with a 320 8800GTS right now. I cannot wait till we see the newer rev high end cards in say 6 months. Should be a scream.I am hoping for a 7950GX2 type for the 8800GT with 1 GB VRAM and two cores on one card. At 65nm, my Corsair 620HX PSU should be up for the task...

I'm glad I've been waiting to purchase an 8800. Had I paid $350 something last month for a GTS, I would now be inconsolable over the new GT... lol

I don't buy stuff off ebay less I know of the person/company. I try not to deal with ebay anymore at all, last few items I've sold or givin away on this forum .

Egg says 11/9/07 on a couple evga cards so maybe they will be in later today. If not no big deal, I've got my trusty GTX. Just wanted to mess around with one and see how good it did, plus need a gpu for the backup rig.

New EK 8800GT block design.

Just finished a weekend with my brand new 8800GT KO and the Crysis demo. eVGA overnighted my order for free, which was excellent.

The Crysis demo was mostly smooth with all settings on Very High at 1024x768, no AA. FPS got a little low during hand-to-hand combat, but overall it was a great gameplay experience. I spent about 5 seconds on 1600x1200 and High settings, but it wasn't playable. It's seems true what all the tech sites are saying, that we won't be able to really enjoy everything Crysis has to offer for quite some time.

Considering that a stock 8800GT ran almost neck-and-neck with a GTX, I imagine my KO Edition (OC'd from 600 to 675 MHZ) performs the same or better as the GTX.

I also ran through the Timeshift demo, and that is a game I'm going to buy. My GPU went through with the graphics maxed out, no hiccups.

I run my 8800 Ultra @ 1360x768 4AA/AF Supersampling- Very High and I never dip below 29FPS running 169.04 under Vista. If your motherboard supports SLi, you might want to try it. It will surely give you playable resolutions at 1600x1200. Also keep in mind that the demo does not support SLi or QC procs.

I am curious (if &) how well the final version will use those other 2 cores, as well as to the added performance it may bring.

I don't think Crysis will ever support Quad Core...I was playing the Multiplayer Demo at 1920x1200 max settings with 2aa, and it runs smooth no issues.
