No but what Duke is saying is true, Those games are not exclusive like Metal Gear. If it comes on out 360 and does really well then I can just wait and get it on PC.

You could wait for it on PC, but you have a PC that could run it well. Outside of NBF and sR I know very few people that have a computer with a decent graphics card. Heck, most personal computers for university work go by their recommendations, and not much more.
If you prefer gaming on a PC, and know the games you want will come out and run well on your system go ahead, that's your preference. All I'm sayin is that most people I know don't upgrade their computer until it's broke, and they'd prefer to just buy one console (usually goes by price) and know it's going to be their gaming machine for at least a couple of years. As far as my personal views, I already have the 360, already have the wii. If I see a game I like, I'll get it when I have the money. I'll probably get the ps3 after I get a real job. But as far as games for the systems go I don't care if it's an exclusive or not. |

You guys are the *beep* of fanboys ever!!!!
READ THE F'N TITLE OF THE THREAD (Hint: it doesnt say PC anywhere!) Youve got Metal Gear, FF what else? 2-3 whole exclusives WOW Im soooooo impressed, Ill take 360 catalog over those 2 anyday |

Its sad if people choose console by price. You need to look deeper into what each one has to offer. If a bunch of B game exclusives is worth buying a 360 and a bunch of arcade games... than thats your deal. I look for the better all around package.

Whoa, hold on. Lose the personal attacks. Fanboy calling happens anyhow, but the other crap needs to take a break. Duke got a PS3 when it came out, and Darq got burned by the RROD (maybe before they extended the warranty, I didn't pay close attention) I can see where each are coming from, and they do have some good points. Step back a bit and see what you're saying as well, which sounds just about the same as what they are, just from a different direction.
But they do. Usually for most people I talked to it came to a choice between 360/PS3 and the extra $200 (yes, I know they've changed the pricing, and the discount on the sony card ) or so for the Sony system made them go with the Xbox. I could care less about the arcade games (okay, okay, so I did buy the TMNT arcade, but that's it) but when I looked I liked Halo, and a couple of my friends had the first Xbox so I could borrow their games until I bought a few of my own. I don't have an HDTV (as most people I know) so the Blu-ray or HD-DVD aspects were useless, so it came down to my game preferences. And like I said earlier, I don't give a **** about exclusives, I'll play what games are out that I like. duke, I just don't understand why you seem to enjoy putting down the 360 so much. After all, you got one. Yes, I know they've had problems, but MS has taken care of people even if they have to wait. |

ok. and i dont give a shit that you dont give a shit about exclusives. we will always have different opinions. yours just happens to be different than mine. and i'd really love for you to explain to me how im "putting down the 360".

*sigh* You're getting defensive about it again. You seem to delight in bringing up the RROD and the 360 failure rates. It almost seems to be a knee-jerk reaction. Yes, that's a problem, I won't deny it. But they are trying to fix it, even if it's only for damage control.
And why would you care about exclusives when you have 3 of the 4 platforms. Get the game you want for which system you want it for. |
|
If you could only have one Speedde which would it be?
For me its the PS3 for Duke I am guessing its the same. |

I personally don't care. I can buy whatever I want and whatever I have interests in. But I will defend the PS3 when people make outlandish inaccurate and false claims. The faults i bring up with the 360 are in defense of people calling out the PS3. And it amazes me how people think the faults of the PS3 outweigh the faults of the 360.
