yes the game will run, but on low-medium at best....anything higher will give you 5fps

Not bad for a computer that you can carry around with ease.

actually it is fairly bad. you are not gonna want to play the game under those conditions. playing it in "low" kills teh experience, and it will be unplayable at medium or higher.

it wont run on low medium it ran on high for meh seriously if u have 2gigs of ram it wont lag i play the game with no lag whatsoever if u close ur internet security fraps and etc the game will run fine! take it from me i have the laptop i am typing on it now here are my specs and it runs crysis all high AA=OFF shadow=LOW if those two r on than u might expect lag but i dnt really know how the F**K wants shadows anyways and with AA off i can even notic the jagged edges at all cause ur in the game play ur hypnotized by it lol.

C2D @ T7500 2.2ghz
8600M GT 512MB DDRII
2gigs ram 667 DDRII

damn fast typing sry for typos i was saying u CANT notice the jagged edges and if the internetz is off and security is off and all the bloatwares are off ur good 2 go!

ANd i dont know why the f**k people would give a damn about shadows anyways its not like u see them while u play i always look at the vegetation nature guns and enemy thats all i never once noticed myself looking at my shadow.

So... hence the not bad for a computer that is still portable and doesn't suck the battery dry in 30 minutes. If we wanted a monster gaming machine we would by one. But instead we wanted a MBP to work with.

So... not bad for a notebook that doesn't feel like a 30 ton brick....

it's a fake!

off topic, but i hope that if Apple releases an ultra portable that it gets the GPU treatment. It'd be sweet if the small system would get 128MB, while the 15" would get a standard 256MB, while the 17" would get 512MB. it'll never happen, but I can dream, right?

And to go further off topic I saw an article about replacing a keyboard with an lcd screen. Not just the keys but the whole board as well. Sort of like the nintendo DS system. Using the touchscreen technology for keys I think is a great idea. Granted it is a little fragile at the moment but the customization options are endless. Just think of all the controls that could be added into a touchscreen laptop while keeping the laptop shape!

Audio editors could pop a dial control on the bottom screen to editing, same with video. Typing notes as school and pop down a drawing window for a quick diagram. Or even custom controls for games. For example take BF2. On foot you get the standard combat layout, in a vehicle you get a custom layout for that and in a plane you get a custom layout for that as well. So many possibilities!
