New Hotness... - Page 6

Koshinn,

The first thing I was told is never pass up the opportunity to keep your mouth shut. That's sort of on the same line as never saying "in my experience". I think whatever you end up doing in the Air Force, as long as you don't come out swinging with a know-it-all attitude and you try to learn everything you can about your job, you'll do fine.

On a side note: did you really manage to get Mac OS X loaded up and working on your m5550? I've read a couple things to see if it'd be possible to dual boot OS X on an Alienware, and it seemed difficult to do.

Koshinn-

I echo what StrikeEagle said. I had a buddy in PA say the "in my experience" bit his first day on the job and the Colonel came(sts) down on him like a NARC at a biker rally.

Also as I sure you have heard, volunteer(for community service) whenever you have time. I know COs and supervisors like that stuff and as a Supervisor myself it makes it a hell of alot easier to write performance reports and awards packages when people have alot outside the office. So just become the expert at your job keep your mouth shut for now...oh yea and GO PARTY!!!!

Was kinda burnned the HDD died after only one week but S&*T happens and aleast AW didn't give me the run around like I have heard in other threads. Btw new HDD should be here on Sat. Time to go gorge on turkey and stuffing!!

Yep, here's screen shot for proof:

Installing OS X on any pc is pretty tricky regardless if you want to actually dual boot or not, it's hardly worth it too as the wireless card doesn't have drivers, although everything else works perfectly.

Thanks for the advice guys! Happy thanksgiving!

To bad AW couldn't work out an alliance with Apple to offer OS X on AW.
