lol littlefrankus... i have the same problem with my hard drive, or so it seems. Right now i dont really wanna call up AW and get them to troubleshoot the problem but i am wondering how long it took u to get AW to give u a need hard drive.

they didnt need to give me a new hard drive i ran scndisk and then booted to F8 and then click on the option that says the good boot option... and my problem was solved....

wOOT! Landed!!

This thing is huge! The 1900x1200 display is awsome. Gonna load up some games later(gotta spend the qual time with the wife). Over all this started right up with no issues. Freak'n awsome!!!!

Sorry to hear about all the HDD probs. Hope you get'm worked out. Havn't been able to play a whole lot because of the night flight schedule I've been on but I have loaded a few games and here is what I got:

Medevil II Total War - smooth as butter
BF2142/BF2 - AWSOME...still downloading patches for online play but will let you know how that goes.
DIRECT ACTION:ACT OF WAR: Smooooth
C&C3: Sweeeeet

Below I also added the burn in stuff AW did for testing. Not really into bench marks my self, just more how the games play. When I get some time later I'll put a review up and run some benchies for ya'll who are interested.

Update:
Hey guys!!
Well I was all set to do a review and post my pics but ran into a slight problem. I powered off my computer when I went to work this afternoon and when I came home it would boot to the Alienhead (w/ F2, F11, etc options) then just stay with a blank screen with a flashing cursor! Tried rebooting a couple of times but didn't help!

So called up tech support and after going through the menu talked w/Jose. Actaully he picked up w/in 2 min of me placing the call...not to shabby. Well he led me step by step through the check process and he determined that my hard drive was bad. So they have a new one on the way to me and should be here in a couple of days. Time from call placement to discovery and deciding to ship me a new harddrive: 32 min.

Now we will see when the new hard drive arrives how things work out but from this first experience with AW TS I have to say...not bad...not bad at all. TS was helpful answered some other questions I had.

Oh btw I was using the 169.09 drivers in XP on my m9750 and COD4 and Crysis demo ran flawlessly. Forgot to run fraps on those two but ran it on BF2142. Had everything maxed out and on a 64 person server got 42-75fps jfyi. I will cover more if anyone wants to know. Oh yea Crysis and COD4 were at all medium to high settings but with no shadows but on the higest res I could do. I'll let y'all know how everything turns out.

my hard drive still has issues booting up but they wouldnt send me a new one... when i installed my second drive as a slave 320 gig it started installing XP and i unplugged it so it wouldnt install but now when i boot there a boot option now that tries to boot me into XP and media center i wish this screen would not pop-up but would only boot into media center... is there anyway of fixing this issue...

sry to hear about that. You had the bad boot sector right? Hmm I'm surprised they wouldn't send you a new HDD .

Was just reading this thread, sucks that the x17 is comming out so soon and your 9750 got problems.

Have any advice for a brand-new 2d Lt in the USAF? (In about a year that is)
