MUST have a built in hard drive to record to (I know Mini-DV has less compression but but HD models are smaller and easier to transfer files for editing)
MUST be standard definition. (my current PCs won't handle High Def editing very well

MUST has some type of built in light, I've used Sonys with the night shot mode on and thought it was pretty cool.
Budget isn't much of an issue as I can afford pretty much anything in this category.
Anyone have a camera they can reccomend?
