After I select "shutdown" shut down, it goes through all the normal screens "saving settings" etc. the screen goes dark, the power light, however stays on (the little green light at the base of the unit, to the right of the touchpad). In order to reboot, I have to stick a paper clip in the hard reset button under the unit. After I do that, all the lights go off, then I can press the power button and it starts up.

Curiously, this does not happen when I select "restart" - the machine restarts normally.

Winxp home
P4 1.80 GHz
256 MB of RAM
