Spaceballs IS funny...one of my most favorite movies of all time.

Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
Colonel Sandurz: Now. You're looking at now sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
Dark Helmet: What happened to then?
Colonel Sandurz: We passed then.
Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now. We're at now, now.
Dark Helmet: Go back to then!
Colonel Sandurz: When?
Dark Helmet: Now.
Colonel Sandurz: Now?
Dark Helmet: Now!
Colonel Sandurz: I can't.
Dark Helmet: Why?
Colonel Sandurz: We missed it.
Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now.
Dark Helmet: When will then be now?
Colonel Sandurz: Soon.
Dark Helmet: How soon?
Video Operator: Sir!
[Dark Helmet has becomed far too confused and everyone now ignores him even though he's center screen]
Dark Helmet: What?
Video Operator: We've identified their location.
Dark Helmet: Where?

Sorry, OT seeping into Desktops.

Back on-topic: what's the status of your build RS?
Don't forget that I'll probably copy your copy, if all turns out well.

OT seeps everywhere.
Awaiting parts. I have one processor. Going cheap sometimes really sucks. Going to have to send some parts back though cause I got the cancelled Antec Quattro Power Supply.

I just ordered my last MAJOR order from Newegg: The case, PSU and mobo. I went with the Thermaltake 1200 watt, and the Silverstone TJ10 black tower case. I rushed the order so hopefully it will get here before Thanksgiving. I'm going to purchase the monitor (hopefully) and system hdd later this week.

Since Darq insists on dynamat, I'm going to hopefully get my hands on some and prep the case for building this weekend.

Yay!

You are way ahead of me. *Stares at Single Processor*

Where and how much for the Thermaltake?

if I didn't have all this money tied up now I'd start re-shopping...

How are those acoustic mats? I may just put them into my PC and see if it helps make it even quieter at such a low cost

The Mounting brackets are more what I am talking about, if you want sound deading use Dynamat.

@nyako-Darq-enstein and/or RS: what monitor have you chosen?

I'm currently planning to keep my 2407, but you never know...

Nyako not me, I has the laptop/PS3 and am happy. Until Nyako turns the computer on, then I will go cry in the corner and pretend its not real.

end of story.. unless you absolutely have to have AMD.. I definitely wouldn't get the Phenom though. Seems like that's going to be aimed at mediocre performance.

Nice threadcrap. I'll be getting an AMD FX-74 and most probably a Phenom later on. I don't need the blistering speed and the wallet blisters.

AMD's high-end socket is great bang for buck. RS and I have already decided on our processors.

Dman thanks for crapping in this thread, I mean it smelled like roses in here for such a long time and then well you get my point.

Car Audio sound deadening in a computer. I wonder how much heat that stuff will trap in the computer. The dynamat I installed in the front floor boards, increased the heat from the firewall...so much so you could feel it through the carpet.

I think it's a waste myself. Now with Bass in the trunk.... Thats another story.

Are you going to install a sub in your computer?
