one thing I must say I hate about this forum is that difference in opinion/trying to help is looked down upon if you don't agree with the original poster, making advice 100% useless

I picked AMD for two real reasons and one fanboi reason. I like the bang for the buck that this system provides. I also like the future possibilities that this system provides. And I like the AMD/Intel war so I'm supporting the underdog.
Yes I could spend more money for a more powerful system but this system will provide me with the power I need now and the upgrade path I'd like in the future for a comparable cost to the Intel alternative. This system is not designed to compete with the quad extreme's and it doesn't carry the cost of those systems either.

I don't see where his post was improper etiquette. He merely stated his opinion. Anyway, that is a nice configuration.

End of story- well that pretty much says it all. I should just go end myself now I guess because my mediocre system surely won't be able to play any real games.
The rest is opinion clearly stated. However that alone doesn't make the whole statement opinion. I can bounce around all day saying the F-16 is a better fighter than the A-10 but since they're not designed to compete with each other it's not a true comparison.

So does this make more sense as to why this is a threadcrap?


And thanks for the appretiation of the build. To some degree I may be in for the pound on this for it's uniqueness and possible versitility of this system but all in all it should provide good performance.

Way to bash me... I didn't even do anything but point something out, when dman came in here talking about the C2D's being better, you guys spit him out like he was slime. That is what I mean by difference of opinion, from here on, please don't bash me for no special reason.

My response in no way was a bashing of you. I answered both you and dman with one statement that was not derisive towards you at all. I apologize if you felt like it was a personal attack upon you or your character.

If you feel you need to take this further please start another thread and I will be happy to answer you there.

I have a 40 inch SamSung LCD and a 26 inch LG LCD, they are both very nice and for the money I would take the LG, but if you have the cash get the Samsung it is just a better looking LCD over all. The black levels are perfect on it were as my LG can look a little gray depending on the source.
