Crysis Released! (early) for download - Page 5

Yeah you're right, but either way it would still probably not run happily along
post #82 of 227
sli isn't supported in the demo.

it sure will be supported in the final, if not it surely will eventually.

it should run it on high probably @ 1280 or 1400 even.

I have been running mine on 1680x1050 @ 25-30fps medium, and it looks better at higher res.

Yeah, on your 8800GTX that's not that hard to pull off. that's vastly diff than the 7950GTX

SLi is supported in the final version. You need the 169.09 drivers that were just released to get the best perfomance out of it. In addition Crytek is planning on releasing a patch to better impliment SLi compatibility.

I picked up the retail DVD at Wal Mart last night. No time to install yet.

New release price was $39.99.

really, what store, here at BB & Wally world it's running $50. I imagine that price has to be a screw-up by someone
post #96 of 227
Guess someone understood it was $20 crapper bin material after all

lol don't knock Crysis just because your desktop is still in the rehab clinic! Forget the 1k monitor. grab a $500-600 one and ask her to get you another video card! then sell your GTS & buy a second one if you have SLi suport
post #98 of 227
All of the local (Atlanta) retailers [Wal Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Microcenter] usually have an initial first-week new release price around $10 cheaper than the 'normal' price. Circuit City actually has it for $37.00

Guess you are in a lucky part of town lol. Everywhere else it's $50, including all the online store websites. Can't check CC here yet since they aren't even open.

Hard to believe CC would have it that cheap. They are well known for price gouging, which is why they are are in such bad shape as a company

Yeah I'm thinking about calling off the Sharp Aquos, although at the same time I think having an HDTV to use with the Toshiba HD A2 (hopefully going on sale for $99@walmart) would be great as well

Decisions, decisions
