Inspiron 1520 7.1 Sound ?

Hi, I recently bought an I1520, and I just can't seem to find the way to hookup my 5.1 sound system on my new little notebook

I have read that I need some special adapter called S PDIF or something. Could anyone help me find exactly what parts or wires I will need ?

I doubt that you can do 7.1 sound on this notebook, like you can't 6.1, 5.1, 4.1.

To do 7.1 I guess you would need something like this sound card for the notebook

I know what you're talking about my 1520 came with it. Plugs in to the headphone and mic jack and has a headphone like connection for the output which makes 5.1 audio.
