Hi everyone! im trying to overclock my A8js but i can never get the OC to stick. But i can boot into dos using a cd and access the bios, problem is i cant get a boot disk or usb drive to boot so i cant get write the stock bios to anything.

If someone would help me, maybe someone that has a A8JS with the Geforce 7700 Gpu would you please please please get me the stock A8JS Bios? im going to make a big iso like was done with the XPS, i'll make a bunch of copies of the iso each with slight increments in gpu and ram mhz and indexed so it will be 475N1200.rom, 480N1200, 480N1205,485N1205,485N1210 etc... maybe with larger increments. And then if volt modding helps i will make a seperate .rom set like V475N1200.rom, V480N1200.rom etc....

So if anyone has their nvidia's 7700 bios backed up PLEASE upload it to me!

UPDATE* i was able to extract my bios from the 7700, ive done it just like ive done with my home pc's 7800GTX a million times. But for some reason it wont copy correctly, the EEprom cant be read right. Nvflash5.57 makes the rom but its blank. ive tried all different types of parameters but i just cant read the eeprom at all. Ive tried removing write protect and every command in the nvflash utility.

2nd Update: Ive did a bit more research, i guess the nVidia 7700 bios is saved in the A8JS system bios (was that widely known here?) . Mac users trying to get the A8JS to work on OSX have succfesfully split the nvidia bios from the system but i havnt been able tofind the rom. I guess they unpack a bios firmware update and extract the nvidia bios then mod it and overwrite the old files. Then apply thebios update.

Any ideas on why the bios cant be read?
