rjtech.com is sold out of the 7950's for a good while, and the only vendor on ebay that currently has them is asking $530+shipping for a 7800. does anyone know where else i can buy a video card upgrade for my computer?

Send a message to Ice-Tea.

He owns the mxm-upgrade website, he may be able to help you out.

Having any luck with this? Toying around with the idea of getting a better card myself.

AW sold me a 7900 GTX, but I'm still under warranty. Don't know if they'll sell to you if you aren't.
If AW still has them in stock, they'll sell upgrade vid cards to existing customers at a discount.

Call customer service and ask if they have them in stock, and what the upgrade price is for an existing customer.

I am not an existing customer so I don't know if they will deal with me or not but I will give them a call. No harm in giving it a shot.

Were you replying to my post?
If you were, what's your offer?
I'm only going to sell it if I get to upgrade my GPU to the 8800m GTX.
good luck on getting that upgrade to the 8800 cards...

DO you know what model of the 8800m GTX will fit on the m9750s?
know one knows if it will fit or not...since the cards are not available you cant just stick one in and tell everyone which one works...plus even if the card would fit into the m9750 you would have other things to check to make sure that its not going to screw your system up... too much hassle to maybe screwing up your laptop...I think the m9750 has a MXMIII form factor which i dont know if the 8800 cards are even that form....

Subject: 8800m GTX GPU

Hello,

I am planning to upgrade my Alienware Laptop's GPU from a 7950 GTX to a 8800GTX, and possible SLI it.
Do you sell the nVIDIA® GeForce® 8800M GTX with MXM-III module cards? If you do, what are your prices?

Thanks!
Victor Wu
What should I reply back to them about the serial number?
they maybe ...the m9750 is a MXMIII form....sounds kinda risky...especially with no refund they could send you the wrong form and you are screwed...

What do they mean by the serial #?
