Gears of war crashing-PC

I bought Gears of War today for pc waited like forever for it to install and it crashes when ever I run it like a few seconds into game play it crashes....
Are their any patches or anything?
I have allready tried uninstalling and reinstalling....
My computer is
spyware free
Virus free
All the windows updated installed
Hadrives are defragmented

I don't know why this is happening but its annoying!! I'M not going to be able to take my game back either....

i uninstalled windowsblinds and got all window live games to work on my machine , just close as many programs you can ...myself i got it to work at first then for some reaosn the game wont start..i accidently clicked update ut3 when i didnt want to ..and for some reaosn it effected gow? had enuff of it and uninstalled it ..coz figuring out fixes and having to uninstalled countless times did my hed in..got it on 360 but for some reason more passionate to play it on the pc

It does say before you start the game that it requires certain drivers to play it flawlessly. Plus there are I think two patches already released for GOW PC, check em out, they might help with performance.
