I heard the game is just terrible. I was looking for it, but when i found out it was not a good game, I decided not to buy.

The famous quote for the new SOF from many users

"I wish I would get paid back"

DAMN.

SOF2 was the BEST fps for multiplayer with modern weapons. The best unreal/quake mod. For real. If that's true, then all my old friends who used to CRAK out to sof are going to sure be disappointed.

2007-11-15 22:25:30 - Soldier of Fortune 3 (1440x900 Full GFX)
Frames: 2547 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 42.450 - Min: 30 - Max: 63

I don't see any option to adjust any GFX settings aside of resolution. I can tell there's no V-sync or AA running though. Very good arcade-like run 'N' gun shooter. Especially when all I've been playing is Gears.

Problem is that it has NO GFX settings to modulate other than resolution. Unless I'm missing something.

There are no graphics options, pity though but the game looks ok. Im been playing COD4 , i cant be bothered with this since playing that.

I just tried to see SOF for what it is...and that happens to be an arcade-type shooter. If you just want to drink beer and blast some knotheads, fire up SOF. If you want to go political and have a plan, fire up COD4. Guess it just depends on your blood-alcohol level.

This game is very easy on newer systems. With my desktop I get a capped 60 FPS at 1900x1200. Still it doesn't seem to be optimized because the FPS will just drop for seemly no reason in odd places throughout the game. I have played this game on both Xbox 360 and PC and I have to say I am VERY dissappointed with it. The gore is fun for about 10 minutes and after that its all the same. I expected so much more from a sequel to SOF2.
