Was wondering about the Expresscard/34 slot on my MacBook Pro to see if there was a SD-to-Expresscard for the slot. On my old Dell laptops I had a CF-to-PC card adapter that allowed me to leave a CF card in the slot all the time. It fit flush against the case so I didn't have to worry about the card being left in there and it gave me a bit of flash drive space for backup of important data files. I sorta like to keep a 1GB flash card in my computer in case the computer bites the dust I can just pull the card out and pop it into a reader and still have my web files for work. I know I can just keep a flash drive with me for that but I never seem to remember to do a copy to the drive where if the card is always in the notebook it's always ready.
Trying to find some pictures online to see if the SD-to-Expresscard adapters fit flush with the MBP and if it is safe to leave the card in the computer like my old CF adapters were. If I remember correctly the Expresscard slot is right behind the harddrive so maybe heat will be an issue. Well, off to find pictures!
--EDIT--
Woops, seems my title from my previous post got copied over to this one as well. Sorry about that ><
