I didn't screenshot it, but they had 3 graphic card options: 8600, 8700, and 8800

On the color option section, it looked like the m9750. You could pick: black, silver, blue, and green

Thanks. I am hoping that they will stick with the Arima shell.
I really like the look of it. Did the 15" and 17" look the same or are they different shells?

it was so basic they looked actually the same. I guess we have to wait till Nov 16th to really know and figure it out. The starting price for 15 incher was 1399 or something like that with 8800gtx as an option.

Well, this seems like the lappy that I have been waiting for.
I wasn't waiting for this one. I ordered the m9750 because I assume the new price for the new lines will be ridiculous but yesterday it was so excited and shocking I cancel my order at 5 am in the morning by emailing AW. Until now got no answer but I definitely will go for either one of these.

Now the only thing that matters is, which one should I choose? lighter and more portable 15.4 incher or pure power 17 incher ?

For me, I will have to wait to compare the specs. I am inclined to say 17" because I want the bigger screen.
I have had a 15.4" screen for 3 years now, and I would like a bigger one.
I guess I could always get an external monitor.

I haven't seen what graphic cards for the 17" has yet, but, I assume that it has dual 8800m which is a lot better than the 15"

I did play around with the configuration when Yang first posted it. Yes, the 17" does have dual 8800gtx for additional $1000. The starting was dual 8600 gt and next level is dual 8700gt for $250. You can also get single 8800gtx for additional $400. But there is small print saying that right now Window Vista will only support 1 video card and SLI will be support in the future. Something like that. I think the CPU platform is Santa Rosa and get to choose to add 1gb Turbo cache memory for additional $50. Basically I think the new 15" and 17" are built for Window Vista and directx 10.

For the 15" starting price is $1399 with 8600 video card. You get to choose 8700gt for additional $150 and 8800gtx for additional $500. I was able to configure a 8800gtx with 2.4 santa rosa cpu and 1gb turbo cache memory, and window ultimate for $2289.

Sorry for the messy posting XD

Thanks, Dragoon. The dual 8800gtx looks really good right now. Hopefully I can save up enough cash after selling my m5550. If not, then, one 8800GTX video card would have to do. $1000 is a load of cash though.

You can always upgrade later!

I forgot about that. So, I'll probably go with the 17" Man, it's gonna be a beast.

Exciting times. I am glad I waited. From the looks of it, this is what I have been waiting for.

I managed to see the site last night and I highly recommend those that are in the buying game to wait another week.

Color options, turbo cache, santa rosa, wide choice of 8 series cards etc...

All I can say is there are going to be many unhappy wives and girlfriends in the near future!!! LOL

Merry Xmas to me, Merry Xmas to me and Merry Xmas to everybody.....I know it's early....But thats the only excuse I can give to my girl at the moment for buying a new machine....he he he...
