I tried to tell you guys back on page 3 on post # 43. LOL...I have no idea why they do this to us. For some reason I could smell this coming a mile away.

I don't like this type of "marketing." It gets the consumer all hyped up and just hurts them.

There would have to be a large amount of laptops on hand to fulfill the X-Mas rush.

yeah, they don't have enough for all the people who are waiting to buy them. I guess we have to be a patient for a little while longer...

They will make their money either way. It just won't be till next year.

I also don't want them to rush it.
When it is ready, it is ready.

A very zen-like thing to say.

Has anyone noticed there are no ports on the backs of them?
Perhaps there is a fold-down cover on it?

Bottom center dark grey piece in the pics must be the flip out cover....
It looks like a grey piece on the ripley, but the skull cap has a mesh screen over the back. Scroll down to skull cap pic and enlarge

It also appear that the power cable has moved to the side and the USB ports are arranged horizontally instead of vertically as compared to m9750
post #213 of 961
Actually it looks like there are no ports on the back.
It looks like everything is on the sides.
It looks like it has an HDMI output instead of DVI\VGA (Probably will be an adapter).

Has anyone seen any specs yet, like how much do the beasts weigh?
god it looks like ass! how in the world can you guys get excited for this? it has no ports on the back, not even the power port for god's sake! it's also bigger and heavier than the m9750. the keyboard also looks like it's going to have flex. alienware went the same route as dell's m1730. what a dissapointment.

the m9750 with the user-upgraded 8800m is a much better choice as it has a proven chasis.
I don“t like them i was hoping something like m9750, too thick.
Is there any technical specs, or are you speculating it is thicker than the 9750?

I agree, lets wait till we get somemore info before we make assumptions.
All the ports on the side is horrible... and HDMI instead of DVI doesn't make me happy... anyone interested in selling a WUXGA 9750?

of course it's thicker than the m9750. just look at the left side of it as it's almost 2 optical bays thick.

plus all that flashy plastic is going to leave fingerprints.
