"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night", ooh sorry, movie flashback!
I'll be ticked if they don't offer the 8800gtx as an upgrade for the 9750

Did anyone build a machine with dual 8800GTX's and see what the estimated delivery time was? Im just curious if its like the m9750 release where you buy the machine and they ship it six months later.

an 8800 in a 15"??? better make sure to get a laptop cooler and 3-year warranty, I can't imagine the heat problems this thing will have...

I'm pretty sure that they would offer the 8800m GTX for the m9750 as well once this video card is "publicly" released. If not, then you better hope your 30-day return period isn't over...I'm hoping that they release the 8-series on the m5550 as well so that I can upgrade. *fingers crossed.

The 8800M GTX, will certainly be available too the m9750's owners
as an upgrade.
About thoses new laptops, I think that we would have to wait a long time before their disponibility.
Here is my feeling about that, maybe I'm wrong :0...

Lets hope so...that would give me a reason to keep my 9750.

same here....this IS an exciting week for Alienware lovers!!
will the m9750 still be available for purchase after the 19th or are these new laptops replacing their current 2?
Yes it is exciting. I managed to take a gander at both the 15" and 17" before they yanked the links. Don't know what i'm going to do. Both my 5550's have hit the 1 year mark and they've been flawless for the most part. What to do ... what to do... LOL!
Whatever happens i think i will hold off on buying one to see if there are heat issues.

I hope they bring back the green and blue and all the different looks. I miss that about Alienware. Nothing screams I'm a professional in a business meeting like a cyborg green laptop.

I would have loved to see a Martian Red, but unfortunately there were none .... oh well, can't have everything...
