there will be plenty of cards when the m17x comes out compared to the beginning of the year when there wasnt many of the cards... it wont be like sorry m15x people you cant have one it goes to the m17x people...if alienware orders the 8800 cards correctly then there wont be an issue...

The main reason that their are delays is that the m15x is having downclocking issues and its taking longer for them to test. Not because of a shortage of 8800 cards.

Does anyone know if they offer and additional battery for Smart Bay with the m17X?

The m15x mentions 6-cell Smart Bay Battery.

The m17x shows 12-cell Lithium-Ion Additional Battery.
