Will Intel 4965AGN work on M140?

I'm wondering if the Intel 4965AGN mini PCI-E card will work in my M140. I'm thinking about replacing my current budget wireless router with a newer, nicer model that can do up to a gigabit wired and draft-N wireless.

My wife uses this notebook a lot around the house for anything from surfing, email, streaming music and videos, and online school work.

I'll be buying probably either a used E1705 or maybe even a D420/D430 (I know its quite an extreme but I'm weighing the options to see how much traveling I will have to do in the next two years at my new job) soon so as I understand the card will work in it but it just isn't documented to work on the M140.

I just want to be able to get full use out of the new router as this one sucks and randomly drops wireless signal until I restart it plus its only 10/100mbps wired.

I'll probably be buying something such as the Linksys WRT330N.

Do you have three wires for wireless and pci-e type in that laptop?

With that wireless card I didn't have good restult, aslo with wireless N. Same range, sometimes twice the data rate.

The M140 has a Mini-PCI slot. The 4965AGN is a PCI-E card. They will not work together.
