Hello.
Im new owner of this laptop, im happy with this alot but... fan speed and sound from this is crazy. When i dont do anything or just browse webistes it is not so bad but anything more like installing software, turning some more advanced programs make fan mad. Im sure i dont need such power anytime, and also it seems fan depends on cpu using not temperature becouse sometimes it can be very loud when i dont do anything (so cpu cant be hot) and then it stops, runs again. And it sounds like vacumer
When i play game i cant even comment. I must set speakers very high to hear sounds from game.
So my question is: anyone got good software to control cpu speed or better, fan speed?
I tried several programs like speedfan, nhc but this both even didnt show any fan speed, also tried RMclock but it didnt work and i read on forum that it doesnt support SantaRosa platform yet.
So do u know any tricks to slow down cpu or control this stupid and loud fan?
I forgot to add, i deleted Windows Vista and use Windows XP Pro now. In Vista even with office work it was running too high volume...
